The Bible VS. Joseph Smith

Tough but fair Questions
I will try my best to be fair, honest and accurate in my review. It should be noted that is film was created to show Mormons some of the factual differences between the claims of Joseph Smith and the Bible. The film presents a conversation between a Christian and a Mormon. There isn't as much debating as there is referencing. Basically, the validity of the Bible and the Book of Mormon are put to test as well as the prophets of each book. Chapter 18 of the Bible's Deuteronomy is used as the litmus test (provided by God) to test the validity of a prophet. So the Mormon and the Christian agree to test the accuracy of the Biblical prophets and the Mormon prophets.

If nothing else, this video will get you thinking. The Mormon did not convert to Christianity, but he did remain open to questioning and pursuing truth along with the Christian. I think it is a great video for people who love truth and who seek it. I recommend this to open minded people who aren't scared of doing a...

First Half Biased, Second Half Good
This is the review of a critically-thinking Protestant Christian and not a Mormon. I am very critical of arguments and will not endorse a DVD "just because it's Christian" or "just because it's anti-Mormon."

This DVD is about a Christian interviewer taking a Mormon man through the prophecies found in the Book of Mormon and proving them false. By the end of the film, the Mormon admitted the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith's prophecies appeared to be false and never fulfilled. He was completely stumped and very troubled. However, the Mormon man did not reject Mormonism (that day) but said he would need to take many months to research these challenges and testing them for himself to see if his entire religion was false. He left with some serious doubts.

Despite the Christian producer/interviewer's bias (explained below), I give this video 4 stars because I think the arguments to prove Mormonism false were TOP NOTCH and I really don't see how anyone can walk away...

The truth hurts.. for a while
This is an excellent film. There is truth in it. I felt the real spirit not the "good" feelings the LDS church portrays in its films. This is not anti-Mormon this is simply the truth. I pray that more and more LDS will come to Jesus and awake from the tyranny and lies that they were born or converted into. This was a touching and peaceful movie. Please give it a chance it will open your eyes and give you the chance to save your soul. If you are LDS please question your leaders and learn the true history of your church. Good family values are obtainable outside the Mormon church. Do not sacrifice your soul for them.
